From experienced m1330 owners: does the keyboard press on the lcd at all when placed in a backpack? Do i need to put a cloth or paper in there? Last thing i want to do is damage my LED lcd screen.. but if i dont need to, id rather not go through the annoyance of always putting something in there and taking it out during every use..

I've not had an issue. I carry my M1330 in a Booq Boa Slimline.

Sometimes it leaves marks, but quick wipe-down from a microfiber cloth makes it go away. If you want, you can put a very thin cloth to prevent it, but I doubt it's needed.

    Hi!

I had that problem too. Also on the black plastic close to the webcam I can clearly see some small traces of abrasion from the trackpad buttons. Those affected the matte finish a little, and are not undoable :(

I got this for protection, and it serves me very well. I even use it as a mousepad wherever I go:
    Crumpler Slip
I got it at an Apple Store here in Berlin, but I am sure many shops have this. It's ridiculously expensive though - I paid 16 Euros...

    Cheers
