I was wondering what Dell uses for thermal paste for the CPU/GPU. Has anyone replaced the factory thermal paste with AS5? If so, was there any reduction in temps?

    Thanks.

If you replace the thermal compound, you will void the warranty.

I didn't use AS5, but when I used ASceramique there was a reduction.

Is the standard white compound being used? Besides the possible color change of the compound, are there any tamper resistant stickers on the fan/heat sink assembly?
