I've had the laptop for 2 weeks now and i noticed my LED screen has a distinct column near the mid left where the brightness is different. It's not a gradient but rather clear edged rectangle from top to bottom of the screen. Although it's unnoticeable for the most part unless your looking for it.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it worth trying to get it replaced?

Also, I noticed that the sticker with my vista license key onthe bottom of the laptop is faded in the middle. Is that common at all for a sticker to be faded despite being brand new?

Finally when I use HDMI on my hdtv, it isn't completely full screen, I get a 1 inch border all around. Any solutions to that?

    thanks for reading

    - The LED's should have better light distribution on the screen. I have a LCD and barely have any light leakage issues so you might want to look into that.

    - My license sticker was also faded when I first received my computer and I always thought that was weird. I guess I'm not the only one.

    - When connected to my plasma through hdmi there are no borders on my television. The only things I can think of tinkering are the resolution settings on your computer or television. I have a 1080i television if thats of any help. Maybe your television can't support a certain resolution?
