I just became aware of this issue when I saw that the mixer bar in Audacity was grayed out.

So my question is has this been fixed yet with new drivers or the like?

I saw there is some other driver set to use for it, but that leads to the next question.

Does this fix disable sound from going through HDMI to my TV, as well as make the front ports not work as labeled?
