My m1530 FINALLY shipped today, but I am extremely happy with what came out of the box.

I was incredibly relieved when I found that my notebook had no keyboard buldge, grainy screen, or scratched casing. I was also relieved to find all the extras (earphones, microfibre cloth, leather cd case, notebook carrying case) had come with my laptop since I had heard somewhere that they had stopped sending them outside of the U.S.

The LED screen is nothing short of amazing. I have no trouble reading text on the screen near a window on a sunny day, and it puts my desktop moniter to shame as far as brightness. The CD/DVD drive is a bit loud, but not unbearably so. I also love the keybaord, which requires just enough pressure to punch the key, and isn't incredibly loud.

The 8600M GT and the T8300 is more than adequate to play COD4 at the same settings as my desktop, which is quite surprising. The only thing I'm wondering about is whether the HDMI cable is supposed to be included in the package, becaused I didn't seem get one.

    Tuxedo Black
    T8300
    Windows Vista Ultimate
    4Gb RAM
    1440x900 LED LCD
    250Gb 7200RPM HDD
    8600M GT
    Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card
    Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal

Gratz on the new toy, my friend!

I'm really itching to get an m1330. But, I'm waiting to see what Montevina brings. (I don't really NEED a new laptop; I just want it!)

Glad you like your machine. It seems like a great one at that. If you need HDMI cables, try monoprice.com I got three for my TVs for like $12 bucks.
