For some reason, holding my finger down on the volume +/- control no longer causes the volume to "slide" up or down. any ideas how to fix this? tried restarting. If this may hint to something, last night my camera froze but restarting it fixed the problem and camera now works.

ideas please? i dont like tapping the volume control so much for fear of breaking it
