Hi! I've searched for m1530 touchpad problems but not found this. Sometimes my touchpad barely notices my input. It lasts for maybe 30 seconds. Anyone else had this problem?

    I have Bios A08
This is NOT the mousepointer crazy touchpad problem. I don't think I have that magnet that some people talk about?

Have you tried changing the touchpad settings, like sensitivity and speed and stuff?

Also, try updating the touchpad driver. There is a new ALPS driver from Dell which works great. Check it out.

Or try updating the BIOS and see if that helps.

I had the same problem and even changing the settings wouldn't correct it. Every time it happened I had to pick up my hand and let the touchpad "catch up" for it to work right again. But the newer driver seemed to fix it.
