    ok my 1530 came today. sorry for another one of these posts

    how can i see which screen I have?
    and does anyone suggest any software for overclocking and tempature /fan speed monitoring?

    You can, but why? All you're doing is setting yourself up for the placebo effect. Otherwise known on these forums as the Dell Stupid User Syndrome (DSUS for short).

    it looks fine... but it's not as bright as I expeced and the viewing angles are just okay. I paid extra for the 1680x1050 pannel and i want to be sure I'm getting my moneys worth.

    I just restarted my laptop and theres a red pixel in the middle of my screen. what is this????????

    It's really bad that these people can't just ignore the thread but insist on replying without anything productive to say. Anyways, the red pixel maybe a dead pixel if it's just there and doesn't go away.

    Dead pixels are black and can't be fixed. Red/Green/Blue pixels are stuck and there is a chance they might go back to normal.

    woohoo! after reading another thread I touched the "stuck pixel" for about 5 seconds.. and it disapeared!!!!!
