where is the thread on here where you can see who sells mxm cards? I recall seeing it here, but i forgot (I'm trying desperately to get a new video card for my m1710 XPS). I'm not sure which forum it was in, but I recall seeing it on nbr.

it had a list of all the good sellers, and one for the dell cards too.

The M1710, nor any of the other Dell models will accept a generic MXM card. Sorry. I believe the new Alienware M17x does - but not the m1710 nor m1730 for that matter. :(

You can only go with Dell :(

See my post here which includes links to current M1710 GPUs and who is selling them... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=5011853&postcount=4

    added to include:

isnt there also a large list on NBR for all resellers of MXM parts... not just DELL (that was the other part of the inquiry)
