    m1730 DRIVER Issue(Yellow color when drivers are upgraded)

    OK i have now a full range of info on my problem here. When i put drivers above the stock 167.55 from dell on my m1730, the stock LG screen will show whites as bright yellows. This does not occur on my external monitor. I have tried reformatting and reinstalling a fresh copy of vista 32-bit, no luck same issue. i have even heard of people with this issue changing to XP and no luck. Because this only happens on my stock LG im thinking my next step here is to get a new screen through dell. Just a strange add to my findings as well is when i get the yellow issue i also tend to have strange tearings on yellow colors in 1 or 2 games, one is CSS, where the chat color triggers it.


    Anyone else who has this issue post your findings here and lets see if we cant figure out this issue.

    If anyone else has any knowledge of this or any clue as of what weird issue this is let me know.

    imo these lg screens are crap.. they have issues. i just got another replacement on its way from dell hopefully ill get the samsung back.. like i originally had.. call dell get a different screen. if you want the sammy tell the you want the yu241, if you want another lg tell the you want the yu828..i assume you have the lp0032 correct.. man the older lpl400 or lpl0000 were awesome screens these newer ones suck

    Well just got off the phone with dell, im getting a Multi device replacement motherboard, cards screen heatsink ETC and hopefully that fixes it. If not im told to call back and ill be getting a system replacement, brand new m1730 which i have seen to be the fix for this issue from alot of people around the internets. So lets see what happens. BTW they dont let you choose the screen they send you, at least not anymore. So im going to get what ever they have, lets hope its gets fixed and ill be rdy to use 177.92 tweaked drivers for the release of FarCry 2(PLEASE GOD)

    i just called last night and they let me pic which screen i wanted fyi.. i gave them the yu241 and thats what they ordered for me specifically you just have to be firm and demanding but nice
