I know there's none, but is it possible to somehow add one on? like via express card or something (I don't even know what that is), I got headphones that have sub and I want to use them! (they have normal analog wires too, but there's no sub if u use them)

    I have the Tritton AX360

    thanks :)

I don't notice any. I don't use the digital out ports though, i just use the analog ones for my 5.1 setup.

There is also the xfi express card option but that seems but i dont know what adapter you need to get the digital out to be optical or coax.

    there's a few out there:

expresscard would be the creative x-fi notebook one, but it's expensive.

there's cheaper usb ones - sondigo callisto (which i have), turtle beach audio advantage, and creative soundblaster as well.

they tend to use optical outputs, rather than coaxial - but no difference between quality as long as you have the relevant input on your device.

there's no audio delay on the sondigo callisto - and it does perfect dolby digital and dts pass-through.
