    Screen does not come on.
    External monitor works fine.
    Reseated cable, connections, etc.
NO image on lcd.. last broken inverter I had would still show an unlit screen.
Funny feint buzzing sound from motherboard area. I am quite certain it is fan related though, since it starts immediately when the fans ramp up.
Does anyone know the part number to the inverter? I can't find it
Would an M1710 inverter be the same?
How would I go about diagnosing the lid switch, too?

well, inverter is on its way, so I'll update when/if it shows
