when i got mine the screws are pretty stripped out on it and they are part of that piece held on with small c clips..last time i asked i was told it comes with them as part of the cover itself..so id like to order a new one but i cant find it on dell's web site. can anyone tell me what the part number for it is. calling takes so long id like to just do the order online. any help would be great thanks!!

Surely you are covered under warranty if they shipped it with damaged parts.
Anyhow, the part number should be on the cover itself, on the side faces the RAM (it will be either etched on or on a sticker).

    Hope this helps.

Yes, just use the chat and get it warranted. I stripped a few screw myself and asked for replacement. Got it warranted in no time, even it's my fault.
