Well I love my 1530 but I want a better gaming unit. Seems like there are some good deals on dell outlet for the 8800sli 1730. I have skimed through the owners forum but 800+ pages is alittle much. The main issue people had where grainy screens for the 1530. I do not want to take the risk of buying a 2000 dollar computer that has a bad screen. Is this an issue on the wuxa screens on the 1730? Any other issues that seem to pop up(not 1/100 but 1/5)?
    Thanks

I've heard of some grainy screens being present on M1730's, but these can be quickly replaced if you have Dell's Complete Care warranty. I had multiple bad pixels + bleeding backlight issues on my previous screen, but Dell came through and replaced it with a defect-free Samsung screen.

EDIT: as for performance, the M1730 with twin 8800M-GTX SLI really screams, but you have to use something other than Dell's newest factory video drivers to get best performance.
