    Hey guys,
    I have a dell xps 15z and i m trying to find an adaptor that works to convert mini displayport to vga for a sony projector and tv. I tried an apple adaptor but its not working, do you know any brand with adaptor that i can use and work? i ve searched on amazon and ebay but i dont know if they ll work at the end, any help...

    its not only the money problem, its also that i m in greece and they dont send it here, and dell here doesnt sell it!

    try ebay i bought one there worked fine on my 15z

    using it on a projector as well.

    Should note depending on the vintage of projector these do not always detect properly

    is there a specific brand that you bought so i can try it?
    the projector is kind of all but i tried the apple adaptor also in a brand new lg tv and it didnt recognise anything!

    I have the Apple one

    worked on my 3-6 year projectors but 2 older ones would not reconize it
