Lately they have been hard to come by, ebay will be the only place you can get one for a decent price, unless you find an individual selling one around the forums or elsewhere. I got my oem x9000 off ebay from an american seller for a great price. Just keep your eyes peeled.

You can also get a x7800 pretty cheap, though its not as powerful and runs hotter, its still a Core2 Extreme Cpu that overclocks in the M1730.

If you just received your M1730, its running the latest Bios (A10) so you are all good.
