    i am bad with computer , bought a laptop for my sister thru a friendits brand new in box (refurb)..when i check laptop configuration with its ervice tag on dell site it give me strange wordings which i dont undetstand well , i am trying to find what processor, ram, video card(resolution) and operation system .and other important stuff can some one here help me with that? this is what i see what i check it on dell.com

    I believe that means it's made up of two 2GB chips, for a total of 4GB.

    It is 8GB. Notice that line has a quantity of 2 ( 2 X830D DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE..., 4GB, 1333MHZ, 512X64, 8K, 204). But to make sure, right-click 'Computer' in the start menu and click Properties. The amount of RAM will be listed under the system information.

    ^ Why are you asking if you were told from the owner of the laptop? It'd be better to ask him/her directly than having people guess.

    This is from my previous replacement:

    1 W795M MODULE..., DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE..., 8GB, 1333MHZ, DDR3, 2X4G

    1 X830D DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE..., 4GB, 1333MHZ, 512X64, 8K, 204

    Since ram qty is 2, it could be 2 x 4gb, but as I said before the best way is to ask your friend directly than playing games with ppl. :)
