This laptop belongs to a friend of mine. Today his speaker suddenly sounds half good half TV-static-sounds-like, lots of stuttering makes the hearing experience unpleasant. Tried headphone and external speakers over headphone jack and it sounds about the same. I reckon it is a driver problem because lately he's been playing around with driver updater software like DriverMax, SlimDrivers, etc.

Here's some screenshots that might help:

I used to be impressed with the laptop's sound quality and loudness, simply one of the best audio I've ever heard coming from a notebook. And now I need a help to get it back to normal. Is it a driver problem? Or is there any other possibility? Thanks in advance.
