    hi guys,

I recall reading a couple of months ago about a new xps line coming out. In fact it was one of the reasons i passed on the m1330 but i havent seen any news about any new ones.

Anyone know if/when they are scheduled for?

    thanks for the help

they wont be xps notebooks, they will be a hybrid with the studio and inspiron lines and will probably be dumbed down as more budget and general multimedia

interesting; I recall reading about a fusion of their 2 lines before. Didnt expect them to become lower budget though.

I take it then that the alienware will then be their ownly premium brand?

Meh, 16:9. When will the companies think widescreen is widescreen enough? And edge-to-edge glass. Meh again. Sounds like the new MacBookPro. I like edge-to-edge toppings on a pizza, but not edge-to-edge reflective glass on a laptop.

yea i mean the new hybrid lines wont be like bottom of the line but yes the reason they are doing it is to let alienware be the only set of computers aiming for higher end gaming and multimedia since Dell owns them now
