yah i was reading about the "oven trick" so i decided i should try this on something. i went to craigslist found a bad m1330 for 300 dollars. it had artifacts all over screen. so i took the mother board and preformed said oven trick and guess what! no more artifacts. this blew my mind

ya, but after 3 months, it'll probably die again...

i thought the m1330 was released in july 2007.... standard 1 year warranty, plus 1 year GPU extension should last til today... hmm....

/Dell Tech Support: XPS Support, this is Sakip. How can I help you today, Mr. Bean?
/Mr. Bean: My M1330 has artifacts and stripes on the screen. I think my GPU has died.
/Dell Tech Support: Have you tried baking it yet, Mr. Bean?
    /Mr. Bean: eh?
