The bluetooth mouse was working fine and then when i awoke it from sleep/hiberation the other day it stopped working.

I tried dl/uninstall/reinstalling driver and nothing works. Install has problem with bluetooth device not found or some other error. I tried pressing the connect button on the mouse but nothing seems to work.

I went to bluetooth logo and tried adding and detecting device but no luck either.

last time this happened i found a patch that miraculously fixed this pairing issue but for some reason it's not working again.

I've looked at the other thread for this topic on other laptops and it was of no help thus my posting for specifically m1330.

Does someone know how to fix this?

    windows 7 blows chunks

lol.... I don't think it's Win 7, but more of a sleep/hibernation issue. What i'd do is disable and re-enable bluetooth, in Windows and if that doesn't work, in the Bios. Give it a go and report back! :)

already tried disabling and enabling bt through icon in the bottom. no dice. i still saw the bt indicator light lit while the menu showed it turned off.

i tried disabling through bios and then enabling through bios. it still wouldn't recognize bt mouse device. when i tried to add it as device it takes forever to seek and it never does.

funny thing is when i try the master wifi switch to turn off/on only wifi is responsive and bt stays on and is unresponsive to wifi manual switch even though in bios the manaul switch is set to command all connections including bt and wifi.

it seems something is wrong with software not a hardware issue. this is all after uninstall/reinstall of bt driver from dell.

no luck with restore. there are no restore points stored for some reason.
it gets terminally stuck trying to access "devices and printers" and "bluetooth devices".

Yikes, I guess only option is a Win 7 reinstall....

I'm surprised that wifi/bluetooth button still works for you.... It never worked for me after 2-3 months (i didn't bother to poke dell about the issue.)
