I've had my computer for a good few months now and I feel like putting ubuntu on it in dual boot. When it was new partitioning the hard drive was easy as I could use the vista partitioner but now the drive is more full and it's got fragged so I can't use that anymore.

I was trying to use my defragmenter (raxco perfectdisk 10, not the crappy windows one) to shift all the data to the edge of the partition but it won't move some of it (it's not even system files or anything so I really have no idea why it's being so stubborn to move). I also don't understand why there is data on the slow bit of the partition in the first place when there are still faster areas it could use.

Anyway, I found this program and from what I've scoured from other forums it seems to be the most reliable and most suggested partitioner which will simple move the data around to get some free space.

The thing I'm worried about is if there are catches like not being abke to have it partition a drive with system files on it or something as I really don't want to ruin windows. Are there any tips or guidelines I should know about?
