if it's not listed on there website then i doubt that they made a mistake, the chances are you card isn't 3dtv enabled.

    hope this helps :)

You won't see the 3DTV software listed in your programs list. When you plug the laptop into your 3DTV via HDMI open the nvidia control panel and go to the stereoscopic 3D tab on the lefthand side. Now go to set up
stereoscopic 3D and the Nvidia Logo should now say Nvidia 3DTV Play instead of 3D ready. You also need to change the PC resolution to HDTV 3D 1080p or 720p.
If your card has a 3dtv play license it will be listed in the Nvidia Control Panel, down in the bottom lefthand corner in system information.Hope this helps.

Yep. I don't think any of the laptops have internal screens capable of 3d in themselves. It only applies to HDMI connections to 3d tvs.

Actually I should stand corrected. The XPS 17 has a 3D display option. The XPS 15 does not from what I can see.

On the XPS 15 it doesn't advertise 3D on the laptop itself. It advertises it as being something that can be done on a compatible external display. The OP asks about an XPS 15 specifically since that is what he or she has. My original response still holds some correctness to it. The XPS 15 is not capable of 3D display on it's own. You must connect a compatible external display (usually a TV for most) in order to get 3D render of content.

Thanks everyone just to clarify my question was if my gpu gt525m support 3d on a external display... now here's the wierd part my computer came with 3d vision software and in the properties of my gpu it says that I have a license for 3dtv play but in the graph posted earlier and in the nvidia website it only posted that the gt540 m is compatible and from my understanding the gt525 is the sane as the 540 . Well either way thank u for all the help
