    hi,

I got my laptop last February....i liked it soooooo much....No problems....No throttling...........but afew days ago,it began to randomly hangs and i mean ( HDD lid turn off-no mouse move-keyboard works-screen works)...but the only solution is to to press the POWER button....I tried to

1-Install a fresh copy of windows with default Dell drivers.
2-Install fresh copy of windows with latest drivers.

I want to know the reason.......plz any ideas????????

Mine does this too, probably 4-5 times per week, and I've been living with it, remembering to keep my work saved. Everything will just freeze and I'll look over at the clock with its second hand stopped cold, and have to use the power button to shut down. I don't know what the problem is and it doesn't seem to be related to software because it still did it after a fresh install. I need to call tech support about it and they'll probably want to replace the motherboard again...

Have you tried running the Dell Diagnostics program? It's under boot options on boot up.
