    Hi guys

I have a problem, maybe one of you can help?
I have a Dell xps, which displays 1440x900. Works fine.
I have just bough and acer monitor, this is capable of displaying 1680x1550. Works fine with my Mac Mini on this display. However when I plug in the Dell xps and try and display 1680x1550, part of the right side of the screen is just cut off!!.

I cant fix this no matter what I do and it seems really odd...any ideas?

Set custom resolutions on each screen.

either go to the nVidia control panel, or rightclick->personalize->display settings or something and click on EACH monitor (they're labelled 1,2) and set the default resolution fo reach

u can drag the two monitors around to determine how they dual (eg should they be left+right or right+left or up+down..eg)

Wow, you people are stating the obvious. I have set the res on the monitor to 1680x1050, but its not using all the screen

which means u need to calibrate the screen... physically through the buttons on the screen... move it left+right
