i have a question.
suppose I have an xps 15 1080 (1920x1080) and a xps 15 720 (1360x 768) both of them with the same configuration.(same video card, processor, ram etc) the only diference is the display.
and the question is what happend if i rescale the resolution 1080 (1920x1080) to a 720. its still looking better than the other xps?
i mean for example if i set the resolution of a game (crysis can be) in both laptop to the 720p resolutiom. in what laptop going to see better? in the 1080 lap that even is rescale till 1920x1080 to 1360x768, or in the 720 lap that still was on there native resolution 1360x768
i hope that you understand me, sorry for my bad english.

The colours and brightness of the 1080 display are far better than the smaller one, from what I've heard. The 1080 display is beautiful - and is maybe the main reason to buy the XPS 15. The 720 screen is a pretty generic laptop screen - smaller colour gamut etc.
I haven't tried anything in a lower resolution on the 1080 display but I've read that it looks very good. And think of all the time when you'll not be gaming and will be able to enjoy the full resolution. -

if i can recall, i played crysis 2 at soemthing like 1200x800 using a 1080p screen and it really doesnt look that bad. the 720p screen may look slightly sharper from being a native resolution, but the color will be bland compared to the 1080p screen and i would pick better colors
questio about 1080 and 720 on xps
