First off, thanks to Bamaster for the guide on reinstallation.
I was wondering how do I subscribe to the McAfee service that was included in my purchase of my XPS15?
All that was included in the box was a trial-ware CD of the McAfee software.
Thanks,

welcome to the boards. i think it is generally agreed that mcafee sucks. i would install something better.
some options;
avira, avg, avast, kapersky, nod32, etc.
i personally use avast and like it. free and easy. others may chime in with their favorite free antivirus as well... -
You might want to think twice before going with McFeces- given the user's reviews:

lots of negativity in the air.
looks like i'm loading in Kapersky. -
yeah it really does it also kills your resources...
even the Enterprise work version is beyond bad -
i have heard good things about kapersky. you will be much happier with it than mcafee. word.

the dell online backup too, if u got it... -
So if I reformat when my 1530 comes with Norton's for 15-months, I'll have to contact them and Dell to set the activation straight?

Hmmm...Ok. I guess I'll just deal with the bloatware then. I hate calling customer service for anything.
