Hello all, I tried to hook up my xps1340 to a vizio 37" 1080p hdtv today, here are my problems:

If I connect through hdmi, at 1920x1080 the refreshment rate will only be at 24Hz; at 720p I can get it to 60hz, but the color quality sucks so bad compare to 1080p (color looks so un-true, ALOT worse than thru RGB)

If I connect through RGB, the maximum resolution I can get is only 1280x1024...

my question is: is there a way for me to get 1920x1080 quality image at 60hz refreshment rate? (I have geforce 9400m with 185.81_vista64 drivers installed)

    many thanks!

On my KURO PRO-111FD, there is a setting called like Film or something that can adjust refresh rate from 24Hz/60Hz.

If it's not on the TV, have you tried adding a resolution from nVidia's control panel? Make sure your TV can output 1080/60.
