Right now, I found a good deal an a Seagate Momentus 7200.3. 320GB The deal is so good, I might just get 2. My question is, if I get 2 hdd, do have to put them in RAID? Laptop is XPS M1730. They only have 3 in stock and yeah, I don't wanna kick myself in the butt lol.

No, you do not have to put them in RAID.

Yea, the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB is a good harddrive. I just bought one myself from Buy.com for $99.99, can't beat that. It's even the G-Force model that has the free fall sensor but I don't really care about that because my M1530 is a DTR anyways.

I paid $250 for 2 of them shipped to my door. Heck of a deal. 640GB for $250 hehe. Works out to about $0.40 per GB.
