    does anyone about a good software which lets you basically "record what you hear" ? since dell crippled the soundcard with their drivers, great tools like audacity cant be used to record the what you hear stream...

    thanks guys for ur answers, however runnin a jack from output to mic sounds a bit like quality loss and cumbersome to me...

    i alread tried audacity but that doesnt work on any dell laptop ive owned so far!

    It's worked on all my previous Dell laptops... are you sure you have the settings right?
