Hi, my previous screen that came with my laptop was brokn in a freak accident and dell wished to charge me $500 to replace it, so instead I opted to fix it myself

    I bought this off ebay:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=250354064961

    and I used this guide:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=237481

I got it all hooked up and installed and i turned it on and the bios did not come up, it just sat there with the backlight on, but after a few seconds windows booted up out of nowhere.

I attempted to flash the bios, but even when I flashed the bios it didnt even actually show the bios, it just sat there blank till windows came up

is it the screen thats causing the problem? I am not sure if this is going to be an issue or not, any suggestions?

Maybe you got the wires left from lcd to motherboard to be hooked up?
    Check that.
