    i have sources for lcd's and i have the choice of either right now from a few different brand.. which would you go with if you had the choice when you originally bought your 1730... and would you have went wsxga+ or are you glad you have the wuxga+??? thanks

    I prefer glossy. It is more of a personal preference.

    My PERSONAL preference is glossy WUXGA. No regrets. Before I had my M1730, I have always been using a matte SXGA. After using M1730, I loved gloss. Colors and brightness are better on the gloss compared to matte. For a 17", WUXGA is great. Unles you are talking 15" or less, otherwise WUXGA is the preferred resolution.

    I`d take whichever is brighter.
    And if equal, the matte of course!
