Do you mean ' Hybrid SLI'? Not sure what you mean by "prototype".
If you are looking for HybridSLI support, you might want to try the 186.12 driver Dell posted the other day for the M17x. You'll have to mod the INF to include your GPU Device ID. Either that or check laptopvideo2go for drivers which have already been modded.
Good Luck. -

Ahhhh... well, thanks for the clarification. In that case:

there is no 186.18 drivers for notebooks yet.

yes there is... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=4985641#post4985641
and if you don't want to use my modded INF, try using the current Dell release (186.12 - Vista 64 only) for the M17x. The INF SUPPORTS the M1730 GPUs.

Edit: Well I'll be damned. It turns out no, it isn't working by default. The issue is that Nvidia have released a profile for prototype.exe - not prototypef.exe.
To fix this, there are a few things you need to do. Firstly, full dues owed here -> http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/525648-guide-working-tri-sli-sli-pc.html
That's for the original fix.
Basically, what you need to do is download the latest nvidia drivers as said above, download nhancer, export the 'prototype' profile from nhancer, edit it where it says "prototype" to "prototypef" and import it.
HOWEVER, if you don't want to download the latest nvidia drivers (that's the only way to get the profile) I'm gonna upload the edited one here for you. Simply get nhancer and import this in and it should work 100% (although I can't say for certain).
If you're still having issues, go for the newer nvidia drivers and do the export, edit, import.
I hope this helps.
Edit2: Also, if you're like me and don't like having too much junk on your PC, you can uninstall nhancer after you've imported the profile and SLI will remain there. However you'll probably find that your CPU is the bottleneck, it seems the game is more CPU intense than GPU. I was running everything maxed out, 1920x1200 resolution, 4xAA, and my FPS were solid 60 at parts with less CPU issues (For example hi-jacking a helicopter). When running around the city, my SLI indicators were showing about 70-80% usage, my CPU was at 100%, and my FPS dropped to 40-50. It's to be expected though, with the amount of logic going into the city (eg cars, pedestrians etc) your CPU is going to be under strain.Attached Files:

awesome thanks worked perfect

Let me know how you get on I still seem to find even @ 3.4GHz my processor is really bottlenecking the game which is a shame.
