since my operating system (xp) crashed a few months ago my laptop takes longer to boot up.i have today reflashed the A07 bios but it still takes ages to load (the bios not the xp screen)

has anybody got any suggestions as to why it might be so slow...it takes a good 30-40 seconds to load bios

    cheers

ps it has 2gig ram, and the t7400 processor.it loads quicker on a restart than a full cold boot.it loads quickly up to say about 70% then it only nudges along slowly.

    thanks in advance

Usually, it takes longer to load after you reset it or shut it down by holding the power button. I don't know how to fix it yet though.
