    not necessarily dell. but i wouldn't put it past the companies that develop the fingerprint software.

    Your integrated webcam and mic could also be recording in this moment to see what you look like and what you talk about... then they get your fingerprints; it's the perfect system to locate and ground you if you mess with the nation.

    This is the way they do today with computers and cellphones, maybe in the future we will have a call phone chip integrated in our body which also has GPS? :pP

    Actually about 99% of webcams have that little LED light for a reason. The webcam cannot operate without that light being on. It is a security thing that companies have implemented so that people can't spy on you like that. ;)

    And actually, before that Apple was the first to try out webcam security by providing their webcams with lens caps when they weren't in use. XD haha

    i haven't seen many laptops with webcams/led lights.
