    Planning to get Vista64 and 4GB of RAM, which is why I only ordered 1GB with the laptop. 1375 shipped...that a good deal?

    why nog just order the 4GB with dell ? and doesn't it come with vista 64bit ?

    maybe worth getting a better wireless card with N, and i think even if your using your comp only for desktop use, the 9 cell battery does a good job of creating space for the intake vent. consider getting the cheapest hdd option too as ive heard the 7200rpm high capacity drives arnt too expensive too

    lastly, it may work out chepaer to upgrade to 64-bit vista with dell, instead of effectively paying for one OS, the another whole OS at retail price

    Nope, Dell doesn't deliver 64bit.
