    so i have USB speakers.......they work perfectly fine when plugged into the usb 2.0 slots. but when plugged into the usb3.0 slots all they do is hummm. i know the usb 3.0 slots work cause my iPhone cord is plugged into one of them.....

    whats up??

    There seems to be an ongoing problem with those usb 3.0 ports on the back. For me, they work fine for a few minutes and then fail. I have upgraded the firmware to the newest driver also. Once I reboot, it fixes itself though.
    I am not sure if that has anything to do with your problem, but just so you know, there is an ongoing issue with that usb 3.0 daughterboard.
