    Hi
After making some minor changes to my system configuration, my m1530 no longer follows the my power settings. I used to use the nvidia 169.09 driver and now that ive installed vista SP1 and the nivida 174.74 driver, my computer does not follow my desired settings of Hibernating on lid close(AC power) and doing nothing on lid Close(Battery Power).

Now my laptop just goes into standby Whenever i close the lid regardless of my power settings

Is this the driver or Sp1 thats causing the problem? How can i fix this?

I really dont want to downgrade my graphics driver back to 169.09 because 174.74 gave it such a performance boost. i hav also tried 175.93 and it still has the same problem

Do you have all the windows updates? There's a vista update that fixes some lid closing issues.
