    studio xps 13 dvd burner stopped working

    I was able to burn one dvd now i am getting io errors in dvd decryper and nero. It also happens when i try to burn a data cd. The laptop is only 1 month old. did the drive die? i also tried updating firmware and it didn't fix the problem.
