Hi
2 weeks ago I noticed that my m1530 got really hot to touch after a period (~1hour) of web browsing. So I called Dell and they replaced my heatsink and CPU fan
My current temps now are as follows:
ACPI : 41-58
GPC : 58-69
after 1/2 hour of COD4, my max temps were
ACPI: 71
GPU: 79
(Used CPUID Hardware monitor)
Also I am running Win7 Pro (x64) with a NC2000 notebook cooler

Open up the HWMonitor install directory and then open the hwmonitorw.cfg file in notepad. Make sure the following line reads:
CPU_0_TJMAX=105.0
If it shows 100.0 change it to 105.0 and from the file menu 'Save' changes.
Restart HWMonitor.
What this does is instruct HWMonitor to use 105.0 as your max and ensures accurate temp reporting. The default TJ_MAX is 100.0. The T9300 has a TJ_MAX of 105.0.
The temps you posted look fine. You may want to check with other owners on the 1530 Owner's Lounge for confirmation though. -
those temps are fine
