    hi im relatively new to this forum as this is my 1st decent laptop i got a good deal on my dell l502x off ebay but it came with the non backlit keyboard i wanted to upgrade this to this backlit keyboard eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
    i contacted the seller to make sure this was truly backlit and they told me it wouldnt work if my keyboard wasnt backlit to start with which i found hard to believe as its the same laptop basically i just wanted piece of mind before i go ahead with ordering it as to whether this will work or not thank you and great site btw :)

    It will work. For the backlit keyboard there is an extra wire that you need to connect. Other than that, it will be the same.
