I would like to get a bigger hard drive for my M170 what is the correct drive to buy that will fit the M170 interface, IE,( ATA/IDE,) or will a IDE work or an ATA, I found out that a SATA won't so I need to know which one will work so I don't waste anymore money, also how big as far as gigs can I go? all input is greatly appreciated.
    THANX!

IDE? You gotta be kidding me. I'm pretty certain you'll have SATA, if not then at least PATA.

Just pop open your system and look at the specs of the hard rive it has. That is the fun way, plus you get the lay of the land for when you switch it out.

Or, you could find the hardware ID in the device manager and run a google search.
