that has been bought on ebay, with a transferred warranty, or if it was not bought at the time of purchase?? i see a lot of people saying they have called up and added it later here in the usa??
is this correct or what is the real deal here.. this was just told to me by a supervisor at dell??
they also said you cannot extend the warranty if you are not the original purchaser?? how do so many people get away with this? i see it all the time that they bought the warranty afterwards

You can't add accidental unless it's already covered by accidental. That's all I know.

I bought a Dell M1530 10 days ago. Called and got the warranty extended from 1 yr to 3 yrs. I also added complete care including accidental damage for $79 for 3years. When I was getting the pricing I kept telling them thanks but I will think about it - but rather than let me go - she offered the CCare for $79 vs $119 for 3 yrs!

great i will tell him in the morning and have him call back and talk with someone else.

I would think Dell would be hesitant if anything.
What if John Doe broke his laptop, then bought complete care to make a claim?
If you had extended your CC before it ran out (if you had it), perhaps. -
I assume you bought your Dell new off of Ebay, right?

yes that is where he was getting it...
-
Was it purchased from an authorized Dell reseller? And if so did you request CC or an additional warranty period withing 30 days of purchase from an authorized Dell reseller?
-Funk
was just told by dell you can not add complete care to a system
