IF you can please download cpu-z and tell me which chipset u have on ur M1330 and u 're running T5850 or 8100 or 9300 series cpu.

Cause one of my friend has T7500 on his lappy and he want to put a T9300 in there. I'm not sure it'll work on it bc i have a T9300 forsale and i've tried on older T7500 compatible motherboard and it doesn't work.

The one that he has is 8 months old and it comes with T7500 and chipset GM965

From a quick google i guess the newer chipset PM965 is required to run 1066bus cpu which are T8100 and T9300.

    Thanks!

Tell him to update the BIOS before putting the chip in. It'll work. I have the same chipset and run the T9300.

First of all, the T8100 and the T9300 both have an 800MHz FSB. Second, a T7500 generally implies a 965 chipset; in the case of the m1330 it's probably a PM965, maybe a GM965. Both of the aforementioned chipsets will take a T8100 or a T9300, often out of the box, otherwise with a BIOS update.
