sorry if this topic was covered before, but i do not know what to search for....

when i remove the battery, there is a device that clips into the body and it has a connector on it with very thin wires running to it....

i assume it might be either the wi-fi card, bluetooth, or something else ?

can anyone confirm please ? i unclipped it from the body of the laptop and looked at it but noticed some discoloration on the printed portion of the board that i can see, kind of like it got wet in the past....

i never spilled anything on my laptop since i bought it

I believe that is the bluetooth card under the battery.
