    when my xps m1530 is turned ON nothing displayed on display some times. i have to turn off and turn on a number of times to get it right. it happens often now. what is the reason??GPU issue?? LCD issue???

    sometimes this happens when i restart computer from OS.

    Get an HDMI cable. If it will post video to an external monitor, it's the lcd. If it won't, it's most likely the gpu.

    That is the kind of fault nobody really can explain. It happens. If it happens, you got bad luck. Could have many reasons. MB, GPU, LCD, Connectors...
    Is some warranty left on your machine? Call Dell and let them replace some parts. Probably they will start with the LCD and end up with the Motherboard or eventually even replace the whole system.
    You by yourself cannot not do anything. This happens somewhere on BIOS / Hardware level...
