Ebay would be your best source for that. :)

They kind of lead you to believe they are genuine, don't they? I would look them up on Store Ratings & Reviews - ResellerRatings.com - Find Trusted Stores to see if they are legit. I would also email them and ask them specifically if they are genuine.

You don't want to buy cheapo batteries, period. Ebay sellers from China will manufacturer these batteries in their basement under unsafe conditions. Worst case scenario is they can be a fire hazard or even explode. Plus there are no standards for these 3rd party batteries.

You would be better off buying Dell OEM batteries because at least you got someone to call up and voice your complaints and they have a manufacturer warranty on it.

Sorry that one sold pretty quick!
Take a look here Bought a battery for my M1530 from these guys about 3 years ago and it's still going very strong.
They are genuine as far as I can tell, just an international version. Hologram, Dell Part numberm, barcode thing and all.

I agree with the others that you should avoid eBay. You are likely to get a knockoff battery that sucks. I bought a 9-cell battery for my wife's Inspiron from brilliantstore.com. The price and service were unbeatable. But were I in your shoes, I would Google for the best price. Just make sure you are getting a GENUINE Dell part.

Since Dell does not manufacture batteries whats GENUINE about it?

I've purchased third party battery packs for decades without a problem, save yourselves some money ; )

Pay more attention to the components (battery) within ; )

I guess you're right. Now what do I do with the FAKE battery that Dell sold me with the computer?
