My ONLY gripe with the new machine is that it wobbles!

Anyone else had this problem before? The rubber foot paired with the one on the battery is angled, thus causing it to be unaligned with the others.

Is it possible to do a DIY fix that doesn't involve a craft knife? I would greatly appreciate a non-surgical solution!

Which XPS did you get? If it's an XPS 1530, here is a solution.

Either do that fix above, or contact Dell. ;)

Honestly, I grabbed my M1530 with both hands gave it a little twist in the way that was needed and it's been fine ever since. No damage at all, just a little firm twist with both hands.

I know you can say it may damage the motherboard, but i doubt it because the inner magnesium for the casing that Dell uses is pretty sturdy, I haven't had any problems for a year and a half. I did this when I first got it.
