    Hi Everyone,

I have dell xps l521x. The main issue I experience is very high latency, sometimes one minute sometimes much more. The issue is usually absent after restart, but then it returns after a few minutes.

I have the killer atheros manager installed, and it says "network card is disabled", I don't know what it means. Windows identifies the network pretty well, although sometimes it says that the connectivity is "limited", where it should have been connected without any problems.
I experience this problem even though I'm connected through Ethernet. I suspect the problem is with the killer driver/manager just because this is the only one saying it has problems.

The latency problems I suffer occur when I try to make any use of the network, for example, opening a new firefox window, or internet explorer, or pinging to google.com.
I have some problems with windows update too, maybe they're related.

I remember getting this too on my Dell Studio XPS 1645. After constant high latency it eventually shut off on its own and the only way to turn it back on again was through computer restart. I fixed my issue through replacement. In your case, I'm not sure since I am not entirely familiar with networking issues.

Problem Solved, I removed the killer atheros network manager.

In wonder if disabling the WiFi via the keyboard shortcut would have solved the problem too, sound like the Killer Manager was trying to route stuff over WiFi for some crazy reason.

When I had the Killer-N in my machine I never ran their 'manager' at all, it's not needed after initial configuration at all, really.
