    xps 15 reboot without warning

    I have had the xps 15 for about a month now and it has rebooted 4 or 5 times without warning. the screen goes blank and goes into bios startup screen. there is no bsod or any error reported. i ran diagnostics and it reported no problem.

    anyone else see this?

    I have. I ran through the diagnostics and he said this proves that there are no hardware issues. I suggested that this doesn't prove that as the machine could be overheating. He then asked me if it was overheating - how should I know?

    He's going to call back on friday and take control of my machine... As it doesn't happen very often - I don't know how they can prove that they have fixed it.
